Dear Family,

well well well, what do you know, another transfer come and gone. I only have 5 of those left! Not to be trunky or anything :) but, it is quite exciting, 6 weeks goes by so fast, it's crazy! I am staying in Pahiatua with Elder Savage, and we are so excited!! We are going to do so much more, end of transfer always seems a little slow. We had that awkward goodbye with the Roches last night, just in case we did leave, and I was so emotionally conflicted, but now we are staying, and all is well!

This week was a roller coaster emotionally....we started with the swing bridges again on Monday for District P day, and got some awesome videos, it was super fun! Our District is pretty awesome!! We had a Zone Forum meeting as well, that was alright. Learning about stuff for this transfer. Then the bad news was Monday....we were heading off to the Paynes for our dinner with them, and we got a text from Jacob..... he basically dropped us....told us that we were moving too fast for him, and he wants to stop the lessons, so he basically cancelled everything we had planned for the next week or so.....it was so gutting..... we basically fell into depression for a few days, almost the week, it was so hard to lose such an awesome  investigator and family, but, we press on, new week, and we will be doing our best to find more people who want this all the way! We had a Branch BBQ on Saturday, basically turned into a primary activity, not lots of adults, a few kids there, and it was really hot, so not a lot of people wanted to play the games, we tried to be in the shade the whole time, played tug o war and some extreme jump rope, even got shown how to make double dutch with one rope by our friends mom, and so that worked out too, the kids really enjoyed that. It was pretty fun, but yes really hot! It has been 28-30 Celsius almost every day, thats like 90 or something all the time, its pretty miserable, especially when its humid, terrible! Then at night it gets cold and the mornings are cold too, so I have no idea what's going on.
The Roches are in Pahiatua area, they live like 15 minutes out of town, but not too far. They are so awesome, just so great!

Elder Savage and I spoke in church again, it went well, all about missionary work, President Morris is putting a big push on it right now. All is looking good for now though, excited to see what this new transfer brings! Love and miss you all!
Love,
Elder Passey
