Dear Family,

Another great week, as per the usual here in Pahiatua, I just love it to death! this area is the bomb! Jake is so cool, and he's still so willing to be around us and he now knows we like to share scriptures at the end too, so he gets ready for it each time, and that's a good start with a lot of investigators. We wanted to catch up over the weekend as well but he got busy with work, and then our members we go to on Mondays for dinner told us to invite him, but he said he was busy, but that next week would work better, so that will be awesome, because this week we are going on exchanges with our DL and so I wouldn't have been here for it, but now, all good! I'm pretty excited for that one!

We have been able to go to Sunday school one time here and it was awesome! But whenever we have investigators we always take them separately which is really good. Our lesson yesterday wasn't bad at all, one of the kids coming along we think wants to get baptized for some new stability and stuff in his life, but the other one that was there kinda lacks an attention span haha so we work with what we have, the other one we are working on getting to have a meeting with their family, so hope that goes well.

We went to a wedding in Dannevirke this weekend, we slept over with the other elders and then went to a wedding and Fantasy Cave, it's like a fairy tale place where they volunteer on Saturdays, it was kinda cool, they had this big train model of the area with the gorge and everything and that was pretty cool, but the rest was kinda lame, maybe if I was like 6 I would have liked it, but it was kinda lame. I don't have any pictures because they don't let you take any. The wedding was pretty good though, the guy did a mean haka before hand, it was alright, not as good as others I have seen. The wedding had some hilarious moments though! The guy forgot the ring right at the moment, he didn't have it on him, and he was having a panic attack asking where it was, and then his brother, totally zoned out in the back, was finally like, oh yeah, I have it! After almost everyone had got up to look. It was hilarious! and then the girl started mackin on her groom when the kiss came, all 4 of us Elders were sitting in the back thinking, guys, there's kids here, don't get so intense! haha  it was pretty funny.

We met up with another part member family, Ben and Ashley, Ben is a less active for ages and Ashley is a non member but she's the one that seems more keen in the church than he is. SO we are having one of our members invite them over for FHE on Thursday, and they said they would be keen, so that's sweet. Looking like this week could have some good stuff in store, exchanges in Dannevirke should be fun too. Love and miss all of you, hope Valentine's day was great!! Love and miss you all!
Love,
Elder Passey
