Hey Family!

This week was pretty great, John came back from being out of town so were able to meet with him which was awesome, we don't have much going on if he's not home :P He came to church again and also brought his daughter Selena which was really cool, she is hesitant about all of the church stuff I think but she likes it. Otherwise else, he brought his Book of Mormon on his trip, and he's been reading every day! So great! I think he can make it to may 10th, he will be bearing his testimony in church next Sunday, we challenged him to do that, so if that doesn't spark it, I don't know what will.
I know, 8 months, it's crazy! It's so fast, too fast. Two years is really not that long. Yeah the moon was a bit red here too, it was so cool!! Not the best one ever, but it was really sweet!

This week, what did I do... well I went on exchange with Elder Parker, we had a good time. Nothing too exciting. I always like exchanges though. Anything you want for mother's day? I can find something pretty cool, but maybe Skype is a good gift too huh? haha :) Oh, we have been getting into Family history more, and I need some photos of both sets of grandparents and their parents from both sides for my My Family Book. That would help a lot! Maybe have dad upload them to Dropbox and I'll get them. Other than that, just normal, lots coming up. On May 18th we have this New Zealand broadcast that is going to be done by President Monson and Russell M. Nelson, that will be sweet! Looking forward to that one! Other than that, not too much happening, just finding, working with Less Actives, lots of fun stuff. Hope you all have a great week! Love and miss you all!

Yeah, speaking of weather we had heaps and heaps of rain!! For like two weeks straight, when I was on exchanges with Elder Purcell last week we were out in it for like 3 hours, it was awful, fun too, but man we got soaked!! I have a picture that I will get on next week. We only half a half hour to email today because it isn't P day, so I will put more on next week. We had a lunar eclipse last week! It was awesome!! I'll get a pic from another Elder and show you. We had a service where we chopped heaps and heaps of wood, big stumps not just little pieces, and it was really fun! Not as hard as I thought. I just watched that because of Him video, amazing!!! That is fantastic!!! I downloaded it too so I can hopefully watch it whenever. Easter was pretty great here, good sacrament, we had a fireside at the stake center, musical one, but cool still. Our Bishop though, man he is going to be a General Authority I just know it!! The guy is so powerful, it's amazing. We probably have the best Bishop in the mission. Anyway, sounds like it was all really good back home, hope you are all having a good Easter, remember Christ, because of Him, we live, and will live again! All the best, have fun!

This week has been awesome!! Conference just makes the world a better place, if anyone had showed up..besides members I mean. We handed out heaps of invites and I don't know if anyone came, but hey, planted seeds right? Neck pain, gone! No idea, must have been a fluke night or something. haha yeah....about the hedgehog...I later learned they all carry weird and crazy diseases...so...if I come home for medical release...will you be mad?.......... haha nah, I feel fine...I don't think anything will happen. I got all my shots, there was a hedgehog one right? ;)

Oh yeah, that's pretty much what you gotta do. Just serve, and the other missionaries will see what you do and see the example, at least that's what I hope is happening. It is hard being a leader, but fun too.
Conference was awesome though, all of Priesthood session, and I think Sunday afternoon was my favorite.

Well, this week, there was a power outage in all of Hawke's Bay, a double lightning strike hit a power plant and the whole Bay went dead. Town shut down, no lights, it lasted for about an hour, still pretty cool though.
John has a cat in his bus now to try and chase out his rat problem. It's just one rat, but it is a nuisance for him. We took lots of pictures with the adorable little thing, it's so cute!

When we do service at the old people's home, sometimes these random New Zealand home shows are on, one called May The Best Home Win. Super fancy, kinda rich ladies that go in and clean their house so it is cleaner than even possible, then the other ladies come in and take a look and rate it, and whoever wins gets a cash prize. Normal daytime television in New Zealand. We don't sit and just watch of course, but when you sit and talk to old people for two hours, you get the gist, and it's pretty boring.

anyways, new week, new challenges, hope all is well, looks like you are all having fun! Miss and love you all, be good, remember who you are and what you stand for! KIA KAHA!
